[SOLVED] how to install libmp3lame only in open suse

I tried to install libmp3lame in opensuse and it said that it will download more that 46 packages ove 1 gb in install size is there a way to install libmp3lame only?

No, since if you want to install that package, it's telling you you need to install the dependencies. So either install them, or don't install the package, since WITHOUT the dependencies, the software won't work.

You NEED the dependencies
ALL OF THEM

even ones that do not make any sense.
OpenSUSE is notoriously BLOATED
with rpm's needing ALL kinds of junk

welcome to OpenSUSE
the OS that is VERY bloated
( sometimes i think that not only did they toss in the "kitchen sink" but ALSO my nextdoor neighbors sink for good measure)

other than the bloat , it is not a bad OS

I opted out k3b codecs and the install size was reduced to 36 mb only from 1+ gb. there was some issue with k3b cdecs and k3b.
