By the way,

Why 8 packages?

You wrote "gcc-3.4-base" two times!!
So it is 7, is it not?

Am I wrong?

I downloaded all the required packages but again I have this problem:

Maybe it is because of some other packages which are installed

Probably get that one removed, so it doesn't disturb.

You can completely remove it with Synaptic.
