You really shouldn't install Fedora 5 anymore, even though you have a dvd ready. Fedora has extremely short support cycles of about a year, which. means that Fedora 5 has been unsupported for at least a year now. Not to mention that it is more than two years old and therefore not likely to offer the same kind of hardware support that a newer version would. I would recommend that you download Fedora 9 or any other distro you may like.
For download links, please visit distrowatch.com.

Forget Fedora all together. It is full oo so many problems. Check distrowatch.com for descent distros.

Good Luck, Michael
