How to install extra fonts in Kformula

Hello people,
I have RH 9 in dual boot with Win XP Pro and all seems fine with the exception of the modem connection but for now I just want to ask how to install extra fonts in Kformula. I have never installed any extra software. I tried but everything looks so different from what I was used to with Win...
Could someone please give me some pointers?
There are some kind of instructions on the table of contents of Kformula handbook in the Kformula Help menu, where it sais to go K>Control Center>System>Font Installer. I cannot find any font installer. I looked in KDE and Gnome and niente...nada.
Could someone help?
Thanks a lot.

KFormula uses the systems available fonts. So if you use RH to get some fonts and install them on your system, they will automatically appear in KFormula.

The control center is where you configure everything else in KDE. From the main KDE menu its usually under settings. Look in System administration.

Yes I know, and I already have the new fonts. They are extra mathematical fonts that I got from "ftp://ftp.elsevier.nl/pub/styles/esstix/esstix.zip" the problem is that there is no font installer, so I cannot follow the info guiven and I have never installed anything on linux apart from the RH installation that comes with all the stuff we know.

Thank you very much for your help. I will try that later on. I'm on line with Win, so to try it out I need to reboot and log in linux. That's in fact the thread that I'm going to start now. My problem with my modem. Hope you can give me some tips as well.
Thanks again

If you're doing real mathematical formulas, or scientific documentation, I would highly recommend getting familiar with LaTeX. It's all I use for my documents nowadays.
