how to install bittorrent-5.3-gpl.tar.gz


Hi everybody
I want to install bittorrent-5.3-gpl.tar.gz .
please guide me how to install it

First look if the program can't be installed using your packagemanager.
If you need to install from source:
Open a terminal
type
Code:
tar -xvzf bittorrent-5.3-gpl.tar.gz
cd to the new created directory, and read the readme files.

  • Download the file.
  • Uncompress the file.
  • Read the instructions that came with it.
  • Follow the instructions.

Have you tried those steps yet???
