how to install a software called "mplayer"
 
I want to watch movie .But I need a PLayer . but it is difficult to install it . I do not familiar with LINUX . I familiar with windows .
one more thing ,my english is not very good .

This is not what LQ is for---this site is for people to help each other publicly--so all can benefit.

mplayer should be available using your package manager. It will be in the menus under "install/remove software" (or something similar)

which linux are you using,
for ubuntu go to system, administration, Synaptic pakage manager, then hit search and search for mplayer, delect, ht ok and you are done
for suse go Kmenu, system, YAST, software management and search for mplayer

there will be a pakage manager somwhere

On systems with 'yum' (rpm-based systems) run:

yum -y mplayer mencoder
(mencoder is not really necessary, but it can be handy)
