how to I have my box automaticall reconnect to my wireless network after it dies?

every time someone calls my house the 2.4ghz cordless phone blacks out the wireless network. All the windows boxes automatically reconnect after the phone finishes, but I have to manually run dhcpcd on my linux box afterwards to reconnect my linux box to the network. I was wondering how I would go about writing a script or whatever necessary to automatically reconnect to the network after it goes down.

Thanks in advance.

my dsl sometimes goes down for a brief few seconds but then springs right back. What about the rc.wireless file in /etc/rc.d/? Any help in the notes there? Also try the Slackware forum.
