How to give user audio permission? openSUSE 11.1

Hey guys,

I can't seem to give myself audio permission. What is the command that lets me add myself to a group so that I may be able to use alsa? Thank you!

hi as local user run

to see what you are a member of

then use root commands to fix the missing groups

formula is


where groupname is target group to add and username is your login name.

for me I have this response

gordy dialout cdrom floppy audio dip video plugdev users scanner netdev fuse vboxusers
