how to give ip OS running on VirtualBox


hi

I have centOS running on my desktop.
I have also installed Virtualbox and running windows.
all the things is fine.
linux OS has IP 192.168.1.5 while windows has 10.10.5.10
I want to bring windows running on virtualbox on 192 network
Is it possible?

I don't know if you can do it in virtualbox. I haven't used it. I use VMWare where you can set up bridged network.

edit: actually I found this tutorial for bridged networking in virtualbox

The only restrictions is that your network card should be wired, as most wireless cards don't seem to support bridged networking.
