How to get totem to play mp3's


Ok this is sorta covered in other posts but I need very specific step by step instrucktions. How to I enable totem in fc 4 to play mp3's. Currently I'm using XMMS but it won't play over SMB shares. thanx for all help

Hey there ... Courtesy of Fedora FAQ

install the correct plugin depending on which MP3 player you want to use:

* For Rythmbox or Totem:
Code:
yum install gstreamer-plugins-mp3
* For XMMS:
Code:
yum install xmms-mp3
* For KDE MP3 players, like Noatun or Juk:
Code:
yum install kdemultimedia-extras
