how to get the select menu

Previously my system was loaded with Linux 9.0 and win 2000 professional .At that as I have installed Linux after the installation of win2000 no problem for me. when I switch on the system, automatically I am getting the selection window (To select the either O.S i.e win or linux).

But now I deleted only win2000 and installed Win XP .Lunux 9.0 is there itself. But, the problem is when I switch on the system, there is no selection menu window to select the either of O.S. By default it is entering into win XP. Now, I am entering into Linux 9.0 through bootable disk only.

If Anybody, help me regarding how to get that selection window without reinstallying Linux 9.0. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Try here.

BTW, a Search of this site will bring up many answers. Try searching for "reinstall bootloader" or "reinstall lilo" or "reinstall grub".
