Hello,

You can create an account and download RHEL from here. But remember, Red Hat is NOT free. If you're looking for a free clone of Red Hat Enterprise Linux have a look at CentOS.

Kind regards,

Eric

You can sign up for a 30 day trial on redhat.com, IIRC, but after that you have to pay to use RHEL. If you want something free, why not try CentOS or Scientific Linux? Both are free rebuilds of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

thank you Eric

I would NOT download a torrent of RHEL unless you have no other options. The best and most obvious place to get it is from RedHat, at their website, http://www.redhat.com. I would view a torrent of an OS as highly suspect.

IIRC, you can use RHEL as long as possible. You just won't receive any updates after 30 days.

Indeed correct. Personally, I'd not load it unless I had an activation code already...that's one of those things that's very easy to overlook for a few months...:)
