How to get new Mandrake 10 install to show NTFS files?

Hi everyone,

I finally took the plunge and installed Mandrake 10 on a newer 80 GB drive. I had a total of three hard drives:

FIRST CHANNEL:

Master: 80 GB drive (as mentioned above)
Slave: 20 GB NTFS drive with Windows XP files on

SECONDARY CHANNEL:

Master: CD-RW drive
Slave: 20 GB NTFS drive with Windows XP files on

My goal was to use the 80 GB drive for Mandrake and wipe the entire thing. The other two NTFS drives should stay intact as the data is important and needed.

Mandrake Linux is now installed, but I haven't found a way to access my other two hard drives. I did leave those alone during the partitioning process (etc) during the Linux install. When paritioning, I saw "hda", "hdb", and "hdd" tabs I believe. I only touched the first which showed as my 80 GB drive master hard drive on my primary IDE channel. While this new 80 GB hard drive is now a ReiserFS drive, the other two are still NTFS.

I currently see an "hd" and "hd2" on my Gnome desktop, but they are both empty and I can't find any information regarding size.

How can I get my two NTFS drives to show up with the data files?

Any help would be very much appreciated. Yes, I'm a pretty big newb at this, but am willing to learn. Thanks.

Son of a gun...I think I just found the other two hard drives via the file system menu in some file manager (heh, I wish I could be more descriptive). At least they are there in one piece. But I wonder why I have an "hd" and "hd2" then as well? Very weird.

This is so confusing! Hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon.
