Well, I've never been using KDE but I think this screen shows a theme. You can find lots of themes at http://themes.freshmeat.net .If you will a little luck, you can find it ;-)

You can get transparent menus in KDE by going start->configuration->KDE->LookNFeel. You can even select the percentage transparency :)

KDE-look.org
has tons of themes also.......... I use Mosfet's High performance Liquid to get transparent kicker menus............of differents colors also. |
Just a couple quick notes as well. The programs in the upper right are xmms (a music player), and the other program is grkellm. I had a heck of a time trying to figure out what gkrellm was on the net. Also, I use aterm for a transparent terminal as the one here.

The icons are called TuxnTosh.

start -> configuration -> KDE -> LookNFeel -> style. Click on the tab "effects", check "enable gui effects" if it's not already checked, select menu effect "make translucent" and then you can select the opacity you want on the slider bar underneath. (I'm using mandrake, not sure if that makes a difference or not)
