how to get mod_perl configure with Apache 1.3.27
 
i using RH8. Lastweek i uninstall Apache 2.0, PHP4.2.2, and MySQL 3.23.53 and mod_perl cause it is a dependencies somhow
Now i have new install: Apache 1.3.27, PHP 4.3, MySQL 3.23.54 .They all install to directory:
" usr/local/apache, usr/local/mysql...... And my web run well
Now i want to script like CGI and Perl in the web. Should i need mod_perl??
I dont know what Mod _perl for what??
But i checked in my system: make perl
I got Perl version 5.8
So now what can i do??
How can i install mod_Perl?
should i remove Perl 5.8 first?
How can i configure with web server
?
I'm vvery new to this.
