Clementine, StreamZap remote, lirc

I have found a way to send keystrokes to the Clementine music player. It uses "xdotool" like this

WINDOWID=$(xdotool search --class Clementine | head -1)
xdotool windowactivate --sync $WINDOWID key F6

Hope this is not too late to help someone.
