how to get a hp scanner working in linux fc4
 
I have a hp scanner 4400c series.
the problem is I can't seem to find a linux driver for it.
I'm using FC4.
The questions is can I use another driver, or has someone created a driver for this scanner?
I have even asked HP only to get the run around.
any ideas would be appreciated

try this site http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Hardware-H....html#AEN15945 if not try google search it pulls up alot on linux drivers.

Should be supported in sane

Install sane/xsane and off you go.
