Question How to format a floppy.....

Please..

I was trying to create a boot grub disk. But i must format it. I tried just deleting the files inside it, but i was not allowed. At the beginnign it seems to delete, but in few time the files were there again. So i think i must format it and do not know how..

thanks

mke2fs /dev/fd0

makes an ext2 filesystem on your floppy.
How are you making the boot disk?

Talking you can do them like this (grub/lilo boot disk)

GRUB --> grub-install(fd0)

LILO --> lilo-b /dev/fd0
