How to force Zorin 17.1 installer to resize partitions on Lenovo C340-11 chromebook eMMC.

I downloaded Zorin Core 17.1 and used Balena Echer to create a bootable image on a 32GB microSD card with the intention of replacing Kali Linux 24.2 on my Lenovo C340-11 chromebook. When I booted from the microSD card one of the installation options for Zorin is to dual-boot Kali and Zorin. The partitioner wasn't able to resize my partitions. How do I force it to ?
Thanks,

Something sounds off on your zorin iso. Did you checksum the iso.

Gparted was never a problem on antiX 64 bit runit iso install on my Dell chromebook II.

I usually reformat the drive with gparted before running a installer. Then pick custom install and install my distro of choice to my ready made partitions.

The installation instructions for the Zorin install indicate that there is a standard option to Erase disk and install Zorin which is what you said you wanted. If you don't have that option, your iso or the write to usb failed. If you have another OS installed you want to keep, you need to select the manual partitioning option as that is the only way for the software to be aware of what you want. This is all explained at the Zorin site.
