Post how to find version of Oracle Linux

How do I find the Linux version? I am running Oracle Linux.

if Oracle did not change the location and the name ( they might have )
Oracle's "unbreakable" linux is a non free clone of RHEL . Explicitly configured and optimized to run Oracles 11g database .

to see the version
cat /etc/redhat-release
