How to find the user rankings for linux distros... 2011?

Good day. Where in this site are the distro and other, rankings by poll for comparison?

You can't really due to the variables involved.

However, distrowatch attempts to track page hits:

http://distrowatch.com/dwres.php?resource=popularity

It isn't really a good measure (and there isn't one) but it is the best you'll find.

They also have a various other statistics but as they note the above is a "light hearted" attempt. It should NOT be taken as gospel.

There was a ranking page earlier this year, showing distros, desktop environs, and software ratings, like awards.

This is what you're looking for:

I always have difficulty in finding this. You can't get there from the home page: I had to search for a post by me including the word "abomination"!
