How to execute java porgrams

Hi,I've installed redhat vmware now how do I install and run the java programs in it is there any specific command for it.

the very first thing is to register your paid for license

you MUST !!!! have a paid for support contract with redhat to install software

so buy it
the Standard 1 year support contract is $299 per year

or

install one of the FREE clones : CentOS 6.5 or ScientificLinux 6.5

and openJDK 1.7 is already installed in rhel6.5 ( and CentOS 6.5 / SL 6.5 )

as to the command

yum install java-1.7.0-openjdk icedtea-web

double check the names with a search
