how to dual boot vista and ubuntu?

hi!i installed ubuntu 6.10 2 days ago and dont know how to dual boot to vista.i didnt make any partition before installing(er,dont know how to!i know,i'm stupid!:D )so,i chose the "resize this partition and use the freed space..." but now i dont know how to dual boot...actually,i'm wonderin if i still have my vista??or do i have to install it again? also, this is the first time i've ever tried installing linux so i really am feelin lost here..(and startin to feel really frustrated too cos i also cant get my webcam and mic to funtion)please help me figure this thing out...thank you very much in advance!

Hi, if you didn't make a partition before installing Ubuntu you'll need to use the resizing tool on the Ubuntu CD. Make the partition whatever size you want (as long as Vista fits on it).

Then install Vista. After Vista is installed you will probably need to re-apply your grub boot loader as Microsoft OS's normally overwrite the MBR when installed.

You have installed Vista now? When you turn on your machine what happens? Does it boot straight into Vista ?
