To install totem movie player you can simple run this command:
Code:

yum install totem
I'm not too clued up with codecs, but totem should automatically offer to download any codecs you need for movies that you try to play in it (at least it did that for me a few times.)

If totem doesn't do the job, you can also try VLC:
Code:

yum install vlc
VLC supports a lot of audio and video codecs out of the box.

Enjoy :)

Go to rpm fusion and follow the instructions for adding it to your yum repositories

i reply because i have been trying to use totem since fc5. i have never seen it work. the comments don't seem to directly address the question. i have the default totem. i have erased and reinstalled. i have rpmfusion repo. the site doesn't even mention totem. so why install a player that doesn't work?

Hello guys I am making videos with Windows Movie Maker and when I try to transfer some video program gives me error and tells me that there are no codecs needed. What can I do?

don't understand the windoze reference, but just google "pimp fedora", copy/paste some or all of that into your terminal window (as root), and you will have it all. it's like sex, you may have to do it multiple times.

rpmfusion is for support for restricted codecs etc. The default totem will support ogg and other open formats at least and definitely works.
