Exclamation How to Disable PCMCIA in Mandrake 9.2


Does anyone know how to Disable PCMCIA in MandrakeLinux 9.2 because i cant run it on my laptop, when it gets to starting PCMCIA it freezes. I cant find any way to turn it off so im asking for help.

while booting, you'll see 'press I to enter interactive startup'. Press I, and then say Y to everything except the pcmcia thing. You'll be able complete the boot this way. Once you're logged in, go to mandrake control center, and then look for draxservices. There you can specify which services to start at boottime. Disable pcmcia from starting.
