How to disable https?

Hi!

I have installed apache web server on the CentOS Linux. Apache automaticali opened not only the http (80) port but the https(443). I don't need https and I want to disable it.

Does anybody know how to disable https?

I'm no Apache expert, but I've played with it some. Look at your /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file. There are these lines, somewhere around line 134.
#Listen 12.34.56.78:80
Listen 80

Is it possible that yours lists 443 also? If so try commenting 443 out and restarting httpd.

It was the first thing I watched out, but port 443 hasn't listened.

Do you have any other idea?

Check to see if 443 is open in your router.
