How to direct http and smtp requests


Hi everybody

I have a problem and i need help from you guys

i have a machine with two public IP addresses.one is used for proxying.I want to use the second ip to accept smtp and http from the internet and direct them to another machine with a private ip-address 192.168.1.17.I want to use the second machine as a http and email server

Ok...those are your GOALS, but what problem are you having?

On the first machine, you can use iptables to do redirection to the second machine, from those ports (110, 25, and 80).

On the second machine, set up Apache and a mail server (postfix or sendmail).

You don't say anything about what version/distro of Linux is on those machines, or what software you're using, or what exact problems you're having, so it's hard to be more specific.
