How to determine if a reboot was graceful


How can one determine if a reboot was graceful in Linux?

Please show detailed commands.

See if it flowed elegantly from BIOS to bootloader to ramdisk image to start_kernel(). Verify that its lines and proportions are harmonious. Check that it sounds pleasing to the ear. Inspect the output of last for lack of grace.
