How to delete a line from a busy file?

I have a log file which is continously being accessed. Now I want to delete the first line without disturbing the file.Is it possible?
The Issue is the log file is being provisioned with ^@^@^@ characters in the first line occupying huge space. So I need to get rid of that. I dont have time to work with root cause but just a script to reduce this space.

Hi,

I told you already that this cannot be done! (In this, merged, thread).

Also: Did you try the solution I offered at the end of the thread?????

PS: Do _not_ repeat the same question in different forms. This is the third time you ask the same question.

In the thread that druuna has linked, you were warned to stop making multiple, duplicate, posts with the same question. The moderator who warned you stated that this is a pattern with you.

Since you have continued to do this after that warning, I am now making it an official infraction.

Please do not do this again.

(closed because is is a duplicate)
