how to create wireless pppoe connection in ubuntu 9.10
 
hello, i am new to ubuntu....
i want to create the wireless pppoe wireless network but it just dont show any help for pppoe connections....
i tried with network manager but it works only for eth0 (not for ethl) so please help ,,,, i am without internet till ur help,

hi

why dont you configure your modem/router as PPPOE dialing mode.
It will auto dial when modem/router Power on. then you have to connect to this device through LAN/ WLAN.
The advantage of this mode is that you can connect number of systems on this LAN, this device will work as gateway.
But if you want to configure your system/ubuntu machine as gateway or taking Static IP from ISP then you have to configure your system as gatway and your router/modem will work in bridging mode.

Wireless pppoe does not work in pppoe mode. You need to change it to Bridge mode to dial a connection from a wireless system.

Bridging wireless and any other connections is still kinda broken. No support for WPA/WPA PSK security at all.
