how to create second virtual IP?


Using CentOS latest version 6.2. It's new server, I have one ethernet IP address. I want to create second virtual IP address?

Please advice how to do that.

copy your eth0 as eth0:1 , edit eth0:1 and change the files as required, restart the network or restart the NIC card only with ifdown and ifup command.
