Downloabed the file onto your home directory in some convienient location, such as /home/yourname/download.
Use tar to decompress adn unbundle the archive. The command should 'tar xvzf <filename>' without the quotes. Linux is case sensitive, so be careful to type the fileanme correctly. Tip, start typing the filename, and press the tab key. Linux will complete teh name if you have typed enough to make it unique in the present working directory.
Next, there should be a 'readme' file. It will tell you how to install the driver. It may have to be compiled and installed. It may have an installer. If you have an installer, just run it. If you have to compile it, look at the Wiki section for help, or do a search on installing software. There are lots of threads. Another alternative is to look for a rpm of the driver.
Post back an overview what you find in the readme, if you need further help.
