Hi Linux Gurus,

Please help me..
How to create FTP server (vsftpd)
step by step

Im using desktop Mandriva

install vsftpd
change the configuration file, to fit your needs.
if you have a firewall, open the ports for ftp

If you have done all that, and still have problems, come back with your questions.
