how to create a linux bootable disk that loads dos drivers?
I am trying to create a bootable Dos cd that loads a network driver and executes the ghost.exe to connect to a Windows Ghost server. I can only do a floppy disk emulation on the cd but it limits the cd to a 1.44 mb disk space. I read that by creating a linux boot disk I can avoid this limitation.However, how does this linux bootable disk can load my network dos driver and execute the ghost.exe? do I need to get a linux driver and a linux ghost executable file? Or can I emulate a dos environment once I boot with linux?
Distribution: Whatever flavor of the month I want, Ubuntu, Gentoo, Mint, Fedora

I'm confused as to why you have to emulate a floppy on the cd. If you can boot an CD-ROM emulated floppy you should be able to boot a full CD, since the El Torito boot standard emulates a floppy to boot a full cd. What program/OS are trying to use (MSDOS, FreeDOS, etc)? Is there a reason i'm not thinking of that you must use a floppy emulated CD-ROM?
