Question How to copy to clipboard using bash command?

Tried this, but there's no such a command in Arch.

And this also doesn't work:
Code:
find ~ | grep -i pidgin | xclipboard
Error: another clipboard is already running
Please advise.

Which desktop are you using? Netsearching for the error message suggests the problem is caused by a restriction in Gnome -- but I found no solution

Might be worth trying gclipper ... ?

Point your favorite browser at www.google.com/linux, and enter this search phrase: bash copy to clipboard.

Then start reading. Here is my favorite return on that search: http://linuxtidbits.wordpress.com/20...-to-clipboard/. But there others as well.
