how to connect to wireless network on fedora 8


Hello,

I have dell vostro 1400 notebook with windows XP SP2, and I am able to use wireless on it........but
I have fedora 8 installed too...but I am unable to connect my wireless on fdora......how can i connect it....is it require firmware???????

What is your wireless cards chipset?

You should find it with "lspci -v"

Download "ndiswrapper"

download and install ndiswrapper. follow the instructions..
for this u should have the windows version of your driver i.e the .INF file of your wireless driver.
