How to connect to the internet using mobile broadband in Linux ?

I'm a newbie to linux using debian 7 distro, and using Reliance netconnect+ (mobile broadband) for internet.

I dont know how to connect to the internet in linux.
I searched in google about how to connect to the internet using mobile broadband and in most of the sites I found that we can connect to the internet by installing wvdial software and its dependencies.

I've come to know that the following are dependencies of wvdial.
libwvstreams4.6-base
libwvstreams4.6-extras
libuniconf4.6

I downloaded the above packages and wvdial package. I don't know how to install them. I've tried to install the above packages using GDebi Package Installer, an error message is displayed showing "Failed to satisfy all dependencies (broken cache)"

Please explain me how to connect to the internet using mobile broadband in linux.

Hi,

didn't you post the same thing and said it is working under a slightly different username? See https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...zy-4175466081/
What is going on?
