How to connect Internet?
 
I have Lan network and can see computers but not connect internet. Computers connect internet using ADSL.How to connect Internet and config proxy ?

1. Ping an external IP address. If you can ping an IP address, then you are connected to the Internet. Problem is probably DNS resolution. Check /etc/resolv.conf to make sure that you have an entry that starts with "nameserver" followed by the IP address of at least one of your DNS servers for your Internet connection.

2. If you can't ping an IP address, check to make sure you have a default gateway defined (run 'route' as root to find out). If no "default" route exists, add one.

I have can ping IP Address and copy about other computer using WinXP. This computer still connect Internet But my computer not connect Why?

Its a case of the blind leading the blind.... i am new to Linux too

You have to configure ur browser to the proxy similar to Internet Explorer so with the browser u r using (Mozilaa or other) try to configure it automatically.............
