How to configure VNC server to load up the complete GNOME desktop?

Does anyone know where I can find some pre-written config files for VNC server that would completely load up the gnome desktop. Currently all it loads up is X Windows and a terminal.

Sucks having to answer my own question

After a fresh install of VNC server with no other settings changed here is all you woul dneed to do.

$ vi /home/joe/.vnc/xstartup

Add the word startkde to the bottom of this doccument.
:wq

Done...

You can display the full desktop if you have a Java enabled brwoser. The vncserver listens on port 5800 so you should point your browser to:
http://<ip-address>/5800+display #

For example, if my vncserver is running on display 2, from my Windows box I point my browser to:
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.x/5802/

I am asked for the password and then the entire desktop appears.

Hope this helps.

Probably not worth saying but just to prevent any confusion, the poster above me means :
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:5802/
Not:
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/5802/

You need to specify the port, not a path :)

In the file /home/username/.vnc/xstartup I uncommented the 2 lines:

unset SESSION_MANAGER
exec /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc

then I got my normal desktop on the client.

Seperately, I've tried the browser way but am not presently java enabled. The http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:580n does get me there, I just get that annoying x in a box.
