How to configure the KDE-arts in Fedora 11

My realplayer always occur an error, reported that "Cannot open the audio device ,another application may be using it".I find a solution that to configure the KDE-aRts. They say it's simple, control center->sound & media. But I'm using Fedora 11 system, which is hard to find as they said.
Can someone tell me how to configure the KDE-aRts in Fedora 11?
Thanks!!

I would bet you do not have aRts installed, and that is why the information you were given is not working.

Fedora, and many others have decided to provide Pulse Audio as a sound server. See this link.

I'm not saying Pulse Audio is perfect, it is not. There are many bug reports on it. However, it works well enough on my Mnadriva system.

Try Pulse Audio first. If you can not get the sound server to work, then you would have to install aRts and configure it. Just understand, that is not where most sound apps are going.
