how to configure internet for user


I configure internet using pppoe... now when i try to access it by loggin in as user it shows

/sbin/ifup ppp0
./network-functions:line 78:ifcfg-ppp0ermission denied.

can anybody give me the the solution to solve this problem..

only super users can do this. To solve, either do it as root or sudo, i.e.:

sudo /sbin/ifup ppp0
<type in *your* password when it asks>

.. this assumes your user is a sudoer.
