How to configure, compile and install custom kernel??
 

Hi,

I'm an Intermediate linux user and want to clarify some commands in RHEL6, i have an old commands in linux 8 but I cannot find the file when compiling and configuring my custom kernel RHEL6.

Could any one can share basic steps and latest command in compiling and configuring custom kernel in RHEL6.

What problem are you encountering exactly? If you'd like an answer you'll need to provide more information, such as what command(s) did you use, what were the exact errors, etc... In the meantime, here are some basic instructions for Fedora and CentOS (and general kernel compilation steps too).
