How to config wireless card in Whoppix, pls help

Hi,
I am new to Linux, therefore i really need ur help on this.

I want to decrypt WEP key using Linux. I have Linux Whoppix 2.7 live CD and run it on a ACER Travel Mate with specification

Intel Celeron M 1.5
256 RAM
40 HDD

The wireless card i am using now is Netgear WG511T.

Please help me to config this wireless card to run on Whoppix Linux with details instruction.

Thanks.

I'm sorry, but this just sounds like you want to use this Whoppix security auditing tool to illegally break into other people's wireless networks. And no one here is going to help you with that.
On the other hand, if you are really worried about the security of your own wifi network, then you are far better off using a better security method, such as WPA, since WEP is almost completely useless.
I hope that helps.

It's not always that people using knowledge to break or hacking. what I want to know is knowledge and learn. So if you can please help me.

Then I have good news: you don't need to decrypt a WEP key to start learning about WEP. If you're *really* excited about the WEP technology in particular, there are many websites that you can easily find with any decent internet search-engine, that explain the workings (and insecurity) of WEP in excruciating detail. I hope that helps and I wish you best of luck with your learning experience.
