how to compile 32bit on amd64

Some applications just won't compile under AMD64. In my opinion it's the fact that I try to compile it in 64 bits and the application was written in 32.

Does anyone have any idea how to compile this applications??

make has some disabled options under amd64.One of them is -m

So are you running a 64bit OS on the AMD64?

Due to some of the software I still like to run, I've stuck with a 32bit OS on my amd64 to get past any potential problems...
