how to change video color to 24 bits


how do i change my video to 24 bits i think its stuck in 16 and i have no way to change it... it also says its in 256 colors can somebody help me out and tell me how to fix my problem.....

use xf86config or xorgconfig commands (depends on the distro). Read a manual about X Windows. xf86config and xorgconfig help you config keyboard, mouse, screen and graphics card.

Have you tried using the Suse utility to set it to whatever you want? SAX i think?

You should also post ur hardware specs in ur posts, so people don't have to ask you. In ur profile, there is a place to put ur distribution, this helps people answer ur questions quicker if they know ur distro

well the thing is that when i go to sax2 and graphics cards it just goes black then i have to restart
