How to change the web squirrel mail attachment size

Dear all:

Now, I'm using the squirrel mail for our webmail. But the default size of the attachment is only 2MB. I want to change to 10MB. I tried to change the message_size_limit = 10000000. But the attachment size is also only 2MB. Please help me to slove the question.

Thanks a lot!
Arnold

Hi,

You need to change the values of "post_max_size" and/or "memory_limit", "upload_max_filesize" in php.ini and restart your webserver

Hi:

I found the php.ini. By default, the "post_max_size=8M", "memory_limit=128M" and the "upload_max_filesize=2M". May I only change the "upload_max_filesize=5M then the webmail attachment max size is equal to 5MB.

Best Regards

Keep in mind that there is always an overhead, from the email content, http headers etc, so if you want a 5M attachment, you can use upload_max_filesize=5M and a little bigger "post_max_size".
Anyway php uses the smaller of those two directives.

Regards
