How to change red cursor to black again!

Dear Linux friends:

I have a very affordable Linux Alpha 400 2.4

I need to change back to the black regular cursor. What I am getting know is
a red cursor that does not let me indent and write, when I do it brings the
text under this sentence along with it.

I hope I explained myself well. Please I need help on this.

Thanks,

Cochocle

I very much doubt that the color of a cursor effects anything. BTW, what is Linux Alpha 400?

Found this online:

A Hong Kong-based manufacturer is shipping a Linux-based ultra-mini PC (UMPC) laptop for only $250 ($180 in volume), which appears to give it the lowest price yet for a Linux laptop. Bestlink's Alpha 400 offers a 400MHz CPU and a 7-inch, truecolor display.
I can't seem to find what distro it comes with though ...

Open your terminal and type in this command:

Code:
$ uname -a
post the text that comes back, it should look a bit like this:

login@user:~$ uname -a
Linux hevithan 2.6.28.5-1-i686-dream #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Feb 13 20:42:53 EET 2009 i686 GNU/Linux
login@user:~$

and people will most likely be able to assist you better.
Hope you get your mouse back.
