How to change or disable the keyboard shortcut switching between workspaces (GNOME)?

Hello,

Is there a way to change or even disable the keyboard shortcut switching between workspaces?
(GNOME)

Thank you.

In the menu: go to System - Preferences - Personal -Keyboard Shortcuts.

Dear David, there is no shortcut associated with the workspace switching. Could you be so kind to explain me a little how to do it? I can only add my own custom shortcut there but not to change the workspace switching shortcut.

Thank you in advance.

You should have three sections in the Keyboard Shortcuts program: Sound, Desktop, Window Management. In the third, there should be a series of commands

Move window to workspace ...
Move window one workspace ...

and, at the end,

Switch to workspace ...

I know that some distros modify Gnome, but I can't believe they'd leave these out.

The other program that can set these keybindings is gconf-editor. In that, you go to Apps - Metacity - Window keybindings.

You can also do the job manually by editing
~/.gconf/apps/metacity/window_keybindings/%gconf.xml
