How-to change login screen on Fedora 9

In addition to that, how do you change the overall theme? I've been skimming through gnome-look.org and I'd like to use one of them. Every time I try to install it through System<Preferences<Look and Feel<Theme and install... it doesn't recognize it as a valid theme.

All help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Brandon

Possibly a side-effect of the newer version of xorg that they bundled. Other utilities are missing or broken too. Then again, sometimes you just need to unpack your download - but if your issue is occuring consistently, then it's more likely that the upgrade to xorg has made most gdm packages unusable.

Wow, forgot I posted this. I found a Fedora IRC room and apparently it has something to do with Gnome 2.22 and taking away features... including adding themes and changing login screens. I guess the rumour of every odd numbered release of Fedora being bad MIGHT hold some water.

Thanks.
