How To Burn .iso Image

Can Some smart geeky person tell me how to burn an .iso image to a CD using Nero

I am a total lamebrain with linux as i just installed Fedora 1 yesterday

For start, there's no Nero for linux.

Try to read the how-to for cd burning.

i wanted to burn the iso in windows and install suse 9.1

i currently have dual boot
XP and Fedora 1

Start nero, then go to File, and there should be an option :Burn ISO or something like that, then click on it and find the iso file on your hd.

This is all command line stuff, but it works.

as root, find the address of your cdburner with
cdrecord -scanbus

the first trhee numbers to the left of your cdburner is the address. something like 0,3,1

next still as root type in this

cdrecord dev=0,3,1 -v /the_path_to, and the name of the iso to burn

Hi, I am newbie in Linux but I think I can help you!
In Nero go in menu recorder-burn image!
But I burned my ISO files with Alcohol120%. This is very good program for burning data.
In Alcohol 120% there is one button---> SEARCHING FOR IMAGE FILES you must click on it and to find your ISO files and burn it

I have an errow with my K3b, When I turn it on, it stops on: configuring cd devices or something like that, I don't know for sure what it says because I'm at work right now, but I believe it was something like that, and after I wait couple of minutes nothing happens...

would someone know what would be the problem? Im running Mandrake 10
